Sharon: Fascinating. Those little things have probably been living with us for centuries if not thousands of years. Reading the article I found no suggestion that their presence had anyting to do with macular degeneration. And it specifically addressed an Asian population as being more susceptible because of the shape of their faces. Protruding eyebrowns seem to help non-Asians. Think I'll go wash my eyelids and eat my leafy greens. Thanks for finding this.
