at first it bothered me immensely to ask my help. My vision loss was invisible and I wanted to keep it that way. Now that I have GA I don’t hesitated to ask for help reading expiration dates on food at the market. I can’t read a menu so I tell the server what I like and they help me order. I have not had even one negative reaction to my requests. People seem happy to help. Sharon Moore patient leader
