In 2020 I discovered I had diabetic retinopathy. Unfortunately, I received my diagnosis a little too late, and the majority of my right eye's vision was destroyed.
Now, when I work as an advocate, I emphasize how crucial it is to have regular eye checkups that actually might preserve your sight.
