I Live Every Day With this Loss

At an ophthalmologist appointment, the doctor looked behind my eye and saw bleeding.

Referred to the retinal specialist

He referred me to a retinal specialist who diagnosed myopic macular degeneration. I proceeded for the next 12 -18 months with shots of Avastin. Now the bleeding stopped but my vision will never be repaired.

Making adjustments

I live every day with this loss, struggle with everything but must go on with my life. It seems that everything is wavy. I use bookmarks to guide me while reading a book. I use a magnifying glass with the computer. I have adjusted as much as possible but it stinks. ~Audrey
