Am I Scared About the Future?
I’ll admit that I was horrified when I found out I had wet in the right eye and dry in the left. This was about 8 years ago. The shots (about 60 by now, frankly I’ve lost count) have helped the wet eye remain somewhat stable and I’m grateful for that.
My fear of the future
In a weird sort of way, my fear of the future of my eyes has diminished and is replaced by a sense of gratitude for each day I wake up and enjoy my version of normal. Maybe one can gain strength from a weakness, if that makes any sense? I got tired of being afraid about it and each passing day seems more special.
