23 & Me
My mom had macular degeneration and was treated with injections. I was amazed at how well she did. She was in her 80's. Recently I did "23 & Me" and answered some health questions. It showed that I had 2 variants so I told my eye doctor.
At last visit, he scanned my eyes and surprise surprise I had the beginnings of MD. He told me to take Preservision twice a day. I am also waiting to have cataracts taken care of as soon as this quarantine is over. I hope I have the same luck my mother had or I hope they caught it early.
