Cataract Surgery

I just had cataract surgery on both eyes with spacing in between. I now can see with one eye but the other is just blurry and it has been 4 weeks since the surgery on that eye. I was told in the beginning that I would need reading glasses only. Now close up is much worse than it was before and I can hardly read text on my phone and my long-distance is blurry. Now they have told me I have to wear glasses all the time and I wish I had never had it done.

Sure not what I thought it would be. They say it is because I have macular degeneration. Any ideas? I am going to get a second opinion before I get glasses but have to wait 90 days.
