Feeling Adjusted to My MD Routine
I've been seeing the retina doctor for 5 or 6 years when the MD in my right eye turned wet. So, we began the injections.
The first time was a little scary as no one wants to be stabbed in the eye. But after that, it became just routine. I go in, have all the tech stuff, get dilated, and have the retina pictures taken.
After the exam by the doctor, I get the injection with all the usual prep stuff and clean up after. Then my friend picks me up and we go to lunch. By the time she takes me back to my car, my eyes are not so dilated, so I can drive home.
I don't take any pain medication because I never have any pain.
I can think of far worse doctor appointments to endure...this one is pretty easy.
