Two Happy People

I go in every six months to get my eyes checked out. I have been very lucky and have not had a shot for a couple of years. The last time I went in was the first time I had seen my doctor's face in quite a while.

When he came in once again with good news, I thought of all the hard times we have all gone through and said "It must be nice to give good news." He stood up, headed to the door, and said, 'Yes, yes it is." It's been a hard few years for all of us.
