What Age Did You Notice A More Rapid Loss of Sight?

With dry AMD diagnosed 10 years ago, I’m curious, how long after being diagnosed with dry AMD did you experience a more rapid loss of your vision?

I’m in my mid-seventies and noticed little loss the first couple of years but am now at the intermediate stage and it’s far more apparent. My retina specialist said the progression often speeds up in your med-seventies.

I still drive but no longer drive at night or in unfamiliar places.

At what point did you stop driving and what was the process that lead to your decision (or your RS advise)?
