My Post-Injection Ritual

Yes, I usually close my eyes on the drive home, which is a 20-minute drive. Then when I get home, I go to bed and lay down for an hour or so.

I usually feel better when I get up. Then I put a warm compress on my eyes, to get the extra gel that the. Dr. Puts in them to help relieve the pain from the injection. This usually works!

In fact, tomorrow is my next injection. I pray before my next one, hoping that he doesn't hit my sinus pocket and that the injection goes well without any problems.

If by chance he does hit my sinus, all hell breaks loose. Because I have year-round sinusitis!
