My New Normal

I am almost eighty and have wet MD for the last 20 yrs.

I received injections every month for 2 years. I have now stabilized and do not receive injections anymore. I can not see clearly or fine details so that has been hard to adjust to. It takes longer to focus on what I am seeing and had to stop driving because I was not sure how close I was to cars on narrow streets.

It sure can be frustrating and depressing to not be able to make out small print even with glasses and a magnifier.

It sure would be nice to have a cure for this disease.
