May Have to Stop Driving
In 2018 I was diagnosed with dry AMD in my right eye, but nothing much was said about what to do, like exercise, lots of greens to eat, relaxation, etc. So I lived without being bothered by MD.
The stress of moving affected my sight
Two years ago I moved to the city, and with all the stress of the move my eyesight deteriorated.
Still cleared to drive
I just had a checkup again and was told I am still ok to drive, but I have lost my confidence as I feel I am driving in a fog. The bright sun bothers me despite sunglasses and I don't dare to drive to unknown places.
Will I have to stop driving?
I am very worried that I may have to stop driving in due course, as it takes away my independence. I was a fit and happy 77-year-old and now I wonder what will happen! Not much fun!
