My Life After MD Diagnosis
Last updated: March 2022
I was diagnosed at age 64. I did not know much about the disease at first but like everything else that would impact me, I began my research and learned all that I could. I began to see a retina specialist and began treatment right away. It affects both of my eyes.
Here I am one year later and my eyes have stabilized. I take an eye vitamin twice a day. I am medically retired due to a liver transplant in 2013. I enjoy my time in my woodshop creating many things.
