My Experience: Beovu by Novartis

I was injected with Beovu by an ophthalmologist even though I wasn't having any sight problems.

He said a scan showed that I had macular degeneration. After the second injection, I woke up the next morning feeling like my eye was on fire. I went straight to his office and the doctor said it would clear up in a couple of days.

Well, 2 years later my vision in that eye is like I am underwater. I found out later that had been recommended by several hospitals to be taken off the market and tried to contact Novartis about compensation. But they said it wasn't their problem.

I found out later on the internet that many people have the same problem — check it out. I am only 54 years old and I lost my truck driving job because I failed the eye test.

You can't make this up but the FDA gave above a top rating...what a joke.
