Extra Letters and Numbers

I have wet macular degeneration in both eyes.

Typing on social media, I have extra letters/numbers at times, $100 will look like $1000. The extra number is in the center. During my silver sneakers class, I cannot see my face in the mirror, or anybody else’s, if very far away.

I have to use a magnifying glass and overhead light, to balance my checkbook. I cannot fill out the receipt in some restaurants, at the checkout, tip, and adding it up. I am still able to drive locally, but daytime only. I failed the visual test at the DMV, thankfully my eye doctor cleared me to drive, at 60/40.

I can see traffic lights, it’s the street signs and such, that are not clear until I am closer.
