Changes Can Be Good or Bad

I think it was 2015 when I started my shots. The first couple of years I'd walk out with no pain or discomfort. Then one day the pain became horrible. This went on for a year & even going thru the routine with me I couldn't find out why the change.

Numbing shot or no numbing shot

He had never done the rinse after but I started doing it myself. At times it helped but then he had me bandage my eye after & which helped a lot. Decreased eye movement. He gave a numbing shot before the Eylea even though we had numbing drops.

Finally, enough people complained he stopped those. Then I guess someone got an infection so he started them again. Then suddenly it was our choice. I said no numbing shot & even though the regular shot has a second of pain it is nothing compared to before.

Different procedures make it difficult

My last shot was the first pain-free shot in over a year. I still do a saline rinse just as a precaution I guess. I go again next week so we will see. So many doctors have different procedures which make it hard for us.
