Solo Travel Tips for Macular Degeneration?

I noticed a change in vision suddenly — it arrived quickly.

I saw my ophthalmologist who suspected retinal bleeding and sent me to a retinal specialist. I received injections for one and a half years when the bleeding stopped.

I have myopic macular degeneration and glaucoma. Needless to say, reading can only be achieved with a line guide - without it the lines are wavy and it’s impossible to read.

I am 67 years old and it was discovered when I was 61. It has changed my life in too many ways to enumerate here but let’s just say it has changed my life dramatically.

I am traveling by air alone to go to a wedding and I am concerned. Has anyone flown by themselves? How did it go?
