I'm glad your first injection is over for you. It's such a shame that they can get the injection to feel like nothing, but the Betadine causes so many problems! Did you get a good rinse out afterwards by the technician? Wendy, Patient Leader. 
Yes the doctor flushed my eye very well but my eye is still very irritated and burning without relief. all I can say is that you're not alone in this issue, but that doesn't help you! Some people have said they ask for less Betadine just to be applied to the injection site and not spread all over the eye. Others find that a cool washcloth over their eyes at home helps.
