I will apply it tafter applying my medicine.. I did not know stress could cause it, too. I did read quite a bit on the eczema website. I hope this information is invaluable to others. I

Hi Janet (<inline-mention username="Pqueenie2022" user-id="4528916"/>). I'm glad you figured it out and that the cause is manageable. I also have eczema, triggered by dry air and stress. Steroids helps me some, but not much and they tend to cause a rebound effect. I find that if I apply cream (Not lotion. Lotion only temporarily moisturizes skin. Cream locks the moisture in.) to the areas that are usually impacted throughout the dry days of winter, it keeps flares to a minimum. Maybe applying cream daily after you complete your steroid treament will help prevent it in the future. Eczema near the eyes can really be debilitating. <inline-mention username="Lori.Foster" user-id="9948131"/> Hi Lori, yes, I have eyelid eczema, and they were swollen. The macula is delicate, precise, and free of growth. He also stated that dry air this time of year can cause it too. I had a bout, quite a bout, a few years ago. So he put me on a low-dose steroid ointment to use. I had cracking, itchy skin around both eyes. What a mess. Janet

I am curious whether anyone has experienced their MD coming on suddenly? I noticed that my right bad eye sometimes looks darker than usual, but other times it's fine. I also notice it gets blurry, too. I seem to have some grit in my eye. I see my eye doctor on Thursday, so I will know what may be going on. Any suggestions?? Thank you
