  • I'm packing up my family for a summer trip and just thinking about how much 'eye stuff' I have packed. Here's my checklist: Glasses and case, contacts, backup contacts (because you know, if something is gonna happen to them it will most likely be on vacation), contact case, contact solution for putting contacts in, contact solution (the bubbly cleaning kind) for cleaning contacts at night, lubricating eye drops, medicated eye drops just in case...deeeep breaths! Anyone else have other tasks that seem more complicated because of their eye diagnosis? -Andrea, MacularDegeneration.net Team Member

I’m not requesting recommendations but am wondering if anyone has information on various anti depressants or anti anxiety meds that won’t interfere with wet AMD. I assume some meds mat not be safe to use. I just need some info on various safe meds so I can bring them up to my dr next visit. My anxiety/depression is elevating my darn bp. I don’t have hx of hypertension so thought maybe could benefit from antidepressant. Thx.

This is such a big topic! It's complicated and confusing! Has your eye specialist advised you to take AREDS2? If not, did you decide to start them on your own? If so, what research did you do?
